Over 25 years experience providing legal services to the south shore
Brent Silver grew up in North Brookfield, Queens County, Nova Scotia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology with a Certificate in Criminology from Saint Mary's University in 1989, and graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 1992.
Brent began his legal career in Newfoundland and has been practicing in Bridgewater since 1994. His preferred areas of practice include real estate, land title migrations, estate planning, probate, and civil litigation. In addition to his work in private practice, Brent has also been a Small Claims Court Adjudicator since 2004.
Brent's volunteer and Board experience includes being both Vice Chair and Chair of the Nova Scotia Primary Forest Products Marketing Board. He has also been a Director and Chair of the Research and Science Committee for the Lahave River Salmon Association. He has coached minor hockey, club basketball, and high school basketball.
Having grown up on the South Shore, Brent is passionate about forestry and spends much of his free time working on his family’s Christmas tree farm and with his portable saw mill.
